+++++FridayWe arrived in SF early morning, sleep-deprived and in need of a shower.
Stepping out of the car, a misty spray like cracked beer greeted us but felt refreshing coming from sweltering LA. Robb's place sits on a hill that overlooks the Bay Bridge side where thick fog from the ocean was rolling into the city. We went into a warmer setting where Ben made me an espresso. This house seems to know the importance of good, French-pressed coffee and it makes mornings in SF much more golden.

Loading pieces into the car.

This made me wish my shower had something more than just plain tiles.

After a much needed nap, we found ourselves at some Thai place.
Bangkok Fried Rice, pieces of lup cheong earns this place bonus points!

Headed over to the Big Umbrella to join the reception. Lots of heads showed up and met a lot of good people.
Got to meet with most of the PAL collective and connected with a lot of creatives. It was a fun night.

Afterwards, we stopped by a bar for a few drinks and ended the night with some cheesy (in a good way) pizza. This guy is showing off his super pizzandwich he ordered. I've noticed SF offers a lot of places that specialize in simple, comfort foods: pizza, sandwiches, breakfast, etc.. I could definitely get comfortable here.Saturday

Robb took us to a breakfast spot he'd been wanting to check out.
The place is chilling right on a corner and is slapped up with all these stickers. What's cool is that this all-day breakfast place is run by Koreans haha! Our waiter was the most friendly ahjuhssi I've come across in awhile. He was very proud of their homemade menu items such as their hash browns and biscuits. Everything was good here and most importantly, it was filling. The coffee comes in mismatched mugs and I like that. As we talked, I told him about our gallery that was showing and he wished us luck (he even said fighting!). The staff's real friendly and aren't afraid to chat with you. Lastly, the meal didn't cost any more than you'd shell at any other diner. It was an awesome start to the day.

★★★★★ Excellente!

Stickers everywhere!

How can you not help but feel better after seeing this mug?

Spotted some Macaframa action here.

Chieh was cool enough to take us around.
It was a pleasure to meet another foodie and music enthusiast.

Met up couple friends and tried this Belgian place called Frjtz. Frrzzgzxtz. This place is known for their gourmet Belgian fries and an extensive dipping sauce menu. The space was dimly lit with chic, modern decor placed along the walls. It could've been a lounge bar more than a restaurant but it was a fun place to try. Apparently, there's a similar Belgian fry spot in LA near Little Tokyo.

I got white-truffle oil drizzled onto my fries, the best option in my opinion.
The garlic fries are good too I guess. That's if you like overwhelming, cluster balls of raw, minced garlic huu!

After hour mischief.

We came across some street food vendors here, wanted to try some tacos but that didn't work out ):
These were mightygood especially when the night got cold. But for the record, I think LA still holds the belt for best overtopped, artery clogging baconwrapped hot dogs.

Obake sightings!
Sunday
Our last day was rushed and impromptu. Wished our stay here was longer.

The neighbor's dog likes to come visit the house.
A few minutes ago, we were all like aww but after it had rolled in some dirt it was more like bad dog!

This house reminds me of something I'd see in Disneyland.
Digging the colors and the flourishing plant life.

Peeped inside the RVCA gallery for a sec and caught a Kinsey piece.

Sticker slapping around Haight/Ashbury.

Before we knew it, we were on our way back to LA.
Short-lived but sweet. My sincerest apologies to everyone I wasn't able to hit up this time.

Mr.Twelver signing out. Peace&Alohas.
